  • Abhay is multimedia designer and social media strategist with a research background in education ICT. He setup Dhyaan Design in 2003 and has since worked on a range of global web-based projects with private, public and voluntary sector organizations. Abhay delivers social media training to HE, FE and creative practitioners. He also lectures on themes such as digital audiences and enterprise development.

  • Ben lectures and coaches both businesses and individuals on digital engagement. He has a broad background, having worked in industries as diverse as advertising and finance in London and economic and cultural development in Yorkshire. Ben runs his own digital communications agency in West Yorkshire. In his spare time he also runs the Bradford Social Media Surgery.

  • Kadie’s focus is on effective communication and learning for empowerment and positive social change. Her most recent work has been in the voluntary sector and she has worked with local charities as well as with international non-governmental organisations. She has developed and managed the development of websites, designed science software for schools, and worked to bring a global and ethical perspective to young people’s learning.

  • Shubha Mudgal

    Shubha Mudgal is one of the founders and Directors of Underscore Records Pvt Ltd. She is one of the most versatile and popular performers in India, equally at ease with khayal and thumri-dadra as with contemporary cross cultural experiments. Shubha also has a keen interest in Internet technology and its applications for promoting Indian music. The Underscore label exclusively runs online and revenues from sales go almost entirely to the artists.

  • Sophie Ballinger

    Sophie Ballinger is a communications and social media specialist. She has worked in the voluntary and community sector for three years, latterly as Communications & Social Media Officer at NAVCA. She is co-founder and community manager of Our Society. Sophie worked in Higher Education for almost a decade (Derby and Manchester) on student voice, interaction, e-learning and representation.
